Today I wanted to share how I keep my hair moisturized for the fall and winter. I realized that I need go to shopping for a moisturizing shampoo because since the fall has dryer weather, my otherwise nice yet oily hair is now very frizzy. However, what is helping me right now is my night beauty regimen of adding sweet almond oil to my hair before I go to sleep.
Sweet almond oil is amazing for your hair because it is very thick, and the fatty acids are close to your skin’s own sebum. Sebum is the natural hair oils that coat your hair and keep it moisturized. I put about a tablespoon on my hand, warm it by rubbing it on my hands and then massage it to my scalp. I also add some more sweet almond oil to the ends of my hair where natural sebum might not be able to reach, to prevent it from splitting. I really like doing this because it is very simple, fast, and it does not make a mess. I also notice that I can sleep without folding a cloth around my head because my hair and scalp absorb it very quickly.
Aside from its moisturizing properties, it is a gentle skin exfoliant rich in vitamins and minerals. That is how sweet almond oil is a great eye-makeup and overall make-up remover. I put a little bit of oil on a cotton swab or tissue and rub it where I want to remove my eyeshadow or eyeliner. Since I use mineral make-up when I am getting ready in the morning, some of the eyeshadow tends to fall on my cheeks or under eye area. Before, this used to be a big hassle because I would have stop what I was doing to wash the excess make-up off with water and soap, but now I just dab a cotton swab with sweet almond oil and it is gone in a few seconds! And to top that off, my under eye area is also moisturized with the sweet almond oil. How much better can sweet almond oil get?

Thanks for these excellent tips. I am certainly going to give it a try
