Hello Everyone,
Thanks to this amazing academic winter vacation, I am able to make soap about everyday. I already used up all my lye and need to buy another one! For my last soap I tried to swirl colors in my soap and cannot wait to cut it up and show it to you. Below are a few pictures of the soaps that I have made so far!
This is my grapefruit soap that is sitting on my art table in their molds. I saw the heart and flower molds and could not resist buying them at Amazon. The square mold at the left corner is actually an Apple brand mouse box that my boyfriend sweetly offered when last minute I realized that I had more soap mix than molds. You can make molds out of anything as long as you line it with freezer paper!
These are my grapefruit soap chunks that came out of the mouse box. I only used natural ingredients; for fragrance, grapefruit essential oil, and for coloring, grapefruit peel powder. Cannot wait to give them out from Christmas!
This is my eucalyptus soap heart, maybe I should call it Koala Heart since Koala’s only eat eucalyptus leaves. I colored it with barley grass powder. Doesn’t it look so beautiful! It can also be used as an air freshener because every time I walk into my apartment, it smells like eucalyptus!
To finish this off, here is my last soap (because my lye ran out) of the same eucalyptus soap, but this time, I only colored a third so I could try doing the swirling technique. The right side of the soap is really green because I did not want to waste the extra green soap. I am really happy about how it came out! I cannot wait to cut it up to see how it looks in the inside since I also did in the pot swirling.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my soap update pictures as much I enjoyed making them!

These are amazing!
Looking forward to reading more about your beauty endeavors.
I really enjoy your updates and I think your soaps are beautiful
Thank you Ula
They came out great, I want to start becoming more DIY beyond just my homemade deodorant. This is inspiring.
Thank for your support! Making soap is really nice because you can go really creative with it! You can also get melt-and-pour soap to make your own natural soap without having to deal with the hazards of lye.
