  1. Thanks for stopping by…you reminded me all over again about coconut oil and its benefits. I need to slather it all over my body as I am suffering from dry itching skin….the winter months wreck havoc on my old bod :) We used to use coconut oil for cooking but have lately switched to extra virgin olive oil. Maybe we should go back to it…I’m going to start taking some orally and see if it will help my dry skin. Love your blog!!!

  2. Coconut oil is absolutely amazing. I cook with it, I give it to my dog – I love it. It got such a bad rap a while ago because of the saturated fat content, but because it’s only amedium-chain triglyceride, our bodies like to use it for energy and not store it as fat. It’s quite amazing actually – so nice to see a post about it!

  3. Great post! My best selling product is my before or after shower body oil. The main ingredient is organic coconut oil and I found a wonderful coconut oil product from Earth Balance that I use in cooking instead of butter. I go kookoo for coconuts!

  4. I love to keep me a jar of both refined and unrefined. I use the refined in my hair because it doesn’t clash with the frragrance oils that I use in my hair. Coconut oil is my summertime friend and winter buddy :-)
